Pelvic Floor

If you’re experiencing pelvic floor symptoms, it can feel confusing, frustrating, or like you’re not getting clear answers.

You may have been told things are “normal,” especially after childbirth, during life transitions, or as you get older, or given exercises that don’t really change how you feel.

Pelvic floor issues are common—but they’re not normal.

They can show up as pain, tension, pressure, leaking, changes in core strength, or discomfort with movement or intimacy. These symptoms are often influenced by how your whole body is moving, as well as changes in your nervous system, load tolerance, and recovery capacity.

This becomes especially relevant during postpartum recovery, perimenopause, and after abdominal or pelvic surgeries, when tissue healing, scar sensitivity, and changes in coordination can all affect how your body feels and functions.

You may see yourself here if you are experiencing:
  • Pelvic pain or tension
  • Urinary urgency, frequency, or leakage
  • Pain with intercourse
  • Postpartum recovery challenges
  • Perimenopausal changes affecting bladder, pelvic, or core function
  • Recovery after abdominal or pelvic surgery (such as C-section, hysterectomy, or laparoscopic procedures)
  • Core weakness or instability
  • Ongoing hip, back, or sacral discomfort
Together, we work to understand what your body is doing, why symptoms are showing up now, and how to create more support and ease through movement, manual therapy, and education.
